The Insurance Source of Maine, Inc. is an independent insurance agency offering coverage for both personal and commercial exposures through twenty A rated (or better) companies. The agency was formed in 1998 by the current owner and local Maine resident Ann Roberts. After fifteen years in the insurance industry as an agent at several of the largest agencies in the state it was observed that personal service and a careful assessment of client needs was not the standard of the industry that they once were.
The Insurance Source of Maine was born from the belief that personal attention to their needs would be valued by those seeking help in protecting their most valuable assets, commercial or personal.
At The Insurance Source of Maine we understand that most people view insurance as a “necessary evil” which costs more than they like and which they expect they will never need. We do our best to help our clients choose the coverage that best fits their individual situation and then shop our many company partners to find the lowest price for the chosen program.
